We’re not done just yet….
Stats guru Seph Lietz joined Geoff and Jaime Hixson on the sixth (and possibly final) edition of the 2013 SLW Podcast.
Lietz handed out awards from Wifflegeddon and shared his thoughts on the end of an era. 2013 stats can be found here.
Pictures from the 20th Annual Shangri La’ Wiffleball Classic are now available. Special thanks to Derek Mayfield (One 7 Photography) and Chelsea Hixson for their photo documenting services at Wifflegeddon.
As we all gear up for Wifflegeddon, take a moment to watch the Bernard J. Alblinger Hall of Fame induction speech from 2001. This was the inagural year of the SLW HOF and the Mayor was the fixture of the first-ever class.
Nobody enjoyed it more than Bernard. As we descend on Lakefront for one final time, let’s not forget about twenty great years of the BJA SLW Classic!
As promised on last night’s podcast, here is some important information related to the 2013 Classic. Please review in advance of your travel to Lakefront.

Weekend Documents for Review
We anticipate more lake time than the last several years, so don’t forget your swim trunks and flippy floppies.
Finally, the standard reminders to bring a pillow, blanket, towel and outdoor chair to Shangri La’ for the weekend. The ladies have asked that no shoes (especially game shoes/spikes) be worn in the house.
Let us know if you have questions and we look forward to seeing you all next week!
Chief Scientist Seph Lietz, Jason Morgan joined Geoff & Jaime Hixson to set the field for Wifflegeddon. Although the entertainment value of the team announcement podcast is always sub-par, this is another must-listen for wifflers in advance of the 2013 Classic.
In addition to the team announcements, Geoff outlines some of what can be expected for the Rock N’ Jock version of the annual old/young game.
As always, check the podcast page for the streaming link or visit the SLW page on iTunes to access the audio.
Teams will be published along with the final schedule on Tuesday, June 11. For now, listen to the podcast to get the scoop.
